Maundy Thursday Apr 9, 2020 | Events On this Maundy Thursday we have two opportunities for worship and reflection. From First Central is a reading of the days lectionary texts and a celebration of communion. Scott suggests using this service as part of or after your evening’s supper. You’ll also want to have elements for communion available. From the United Church of Christ national staff comes a Tenebrae service, more reflective in nature. If you have a number of candles, you might light them and put them out as the service goes along.
